Hina Khan was born in October 1986, in a Muslim family in Srinagar, Kashmir, India and later moved to New Delhi for her education. Her mother's origin isSrinagar and her father's origin is Mumbai. She has a younger brother named Aamir Khan. She currently resides in Mumbai with her family. In an episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, there was scene in which Akshara made jewelry designs for Naitik; the designs were made by Hina Khan herself for use in shooting.
